Job Description - ACTIVITY COORDINATOR 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing person to serve as an Activity Coordinator at Haciendas at Grace Village. You will coordinate, schedule / plan, prepare and conduct activities for residents on a daily basis, respond to social needs of residents with appropriate intervention.

Examples of work performed:

●      Coordinates resident activities on a daily basis with all departments.

●      Prepares / posts activity calendar monthly

●      Prepare monthly bulletin boards

●      Assists in preparation of monthly facility newsletter

●      Identifies social needs and intervenes appropriately to resolve / meet those needs

●      Establish a strong volunteer program

●      Communicate with the community to provide resources for activities

●      Practices good infection control

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

●      Ability to plan, direct, and follow through on projects

●      Knowledge of social and activity needs of the geriatric resident

●      Good writing and communication skills

●      Ability to work well with others

●      Ability to interact with various groups within the community

●      Knowledgeable of fire and safety codes for nursing facilities

●      Knowledgeable of Resident's Bill of Rights

●      Ability to Multi-task

●      Computer skills
